Jordan McIntosh (right) was selected today as the 2011 Kiwanis Idol, with Lindsay White (left) the 1st runner up, and Jamie Anne Bentz (centre) the second runner up.
The judges had a tough time narrowing it down from the top 10 to the top 5, then the selection of the top 3.
Eldon Fox was pleased with the talent on display, and the great crowd that showed up during the day to show their appreciation for these wonderful young people.

The Top 10 will go on to the final on Sunday. The winner, 1st and 2nd runners-up will be presented trophies and recording studio packages from our new sponsor Pebble Studios. The winner receives a $2,000 package, the 1st runner-up a $600 package and the 2nd runner-up a $300 package.
The winner also receives a music video package from LiverPool Studios.

The dates for the 2011 auditions are being set now with the first auditions on at Carlingwood Shopping Centre from 10:00 to 17:00 on July 16 and 17, and August 13 and 14.
The Showcase is on August 27, and the Finals are on September 3 and 4, at Place d'Orleans.
The 1st runner up is Jordan McIntosh, and the 2nd runner-up is Viviane Clemot.
Congratulation to them and to all our contestants, it was a great year. Thanks to the Carlingwood & Place d' Orleans for all their support with this year's Kiwanis Idol.
